Rep Power: 304 Should I swap ROCKFORD FOR CROSSFIRE?
I have been working part time at the local car audio store.
www.soundcreationsonline.com
They have offered me a sponsorship. The problem I have with this is that they want to use CROSSFIRE brand everything. I am currently all RF so I was wondering if anyone has used CROSSFIRE and what you think about them.
Here is CROSSFIRES WEB SITE.

I contacted Crossfire directly and they knew about the pending deal. I asked what line I would be representing. The stated it would be their X line. This is there top of the line most expensive ****. I am waiting on info from them. I am still a little concerned, I havn't head that much about CROSSFIRE. If any one has dealt with them please chime in.

Anyone remember 'Crossfire: the game'? lol
That was the ****, I never had it though, my neighbor did...
Oops..off topic..yeah like everyone else said, might as well take the free stuff if you can get it. You might have to ***** your car out in the meantime, but at least you'll be rocking a tight system. I have heard of Crossfire, but haven't heard it with my ears personally.
Good luck

I say do it, the X subs look like they could pound with the good sized magnet they got. I'm not a fan of Rockford so I would definately do it, I'm an Alpine guy, lol.

^^I already have an awsome system. I had a sponsorship with RF. Well that ran out some time ago bu I am still rockin their stuff. I just took some pics of my setup and will post them soon. The question lies on do I remove the Fosgate for the Crossfire or do I tell them to eat it. Yes it is free but I have already gone threw the sponsor thing once. If I sign on the line then they get the car for a year. If they want to change the system that is one thing, if they want to Rice out my car that is another.

lol, True that. I am rockin the old school Rockford. Back before they teamed up with Best Buy and they had to out source to keep up with demand. I heard threw some of my old conections, that startng in 08 they will be back to 100% made in the USA. They are trying to bring the quality back to what it used to be.
On the sponsorship topic: I think that I am going to do it. I will keep you guys up to date with pics and such. I will not be selling my amps. Sorry.

I told them that I want to retain the rear seat and I need trunk space. This is my daily driver so it needs to stay that way. We are going to discuss the finer datails in a couple of weeks. I can not stress enough that I DO NOT WANT TO RICE OUT MY CAR. I told them no Lambo doors, No flip flop trunk, No split hood. They said that they where cool with the "Clean" look. We shall see.

excellent choice man. Friends of mine had crossfire and it POUNDED!!! Crossfire is a very good company and they make excellent products. Buddy only had a 250 watt max amp and sub in a hatchback and it was LOUD! I cant begin to imagine their high end line. Crossfire FTW!

Sounds like a good gig. Free stuff, you can't really turn it down, and plus, your RF's are a little outdated.
But ****, a 38 pound 12 inch sub? lol. that's a big *** magnet. I hope they're paying for your suspension aswell.
Anyways, sounds like a good gig man. As long as they don't rice it out. Keep it clean.

As for the suspension, I am setting on the stock springs with the blues. So yea if it gets too big then will have to do something.

I used to have a crossfire amp awhile ago. They were pretty reputable a few years back, no idea what happened but I know I never had any problems with my amp.

I would take crossfire over RF myself just from what i've seen the amps handle in many competitions

i'd say go for it, it's free and they make good stuff here lately. They're like Hyundai, they've come a long way in the last 5 years or so...

Yes they compete, if I am not mistaken they hold most of the SPL world records with USAC and IASCA. A couple SQ as well.
