Normally on honda engines you will run lean at idle bc there really is no need for that much fuel since there's no load and it will run rich inthe upper rpms to compensate for the VTEC. What do you mean be rich and lean what are your wideband readings?

that a/f gauge built in the vafc is not accurate. it gives a good idea of when your rich and lean but nothing more. the only concern you should have with that gauge is if it says lean at WOT.

thos readings on a "NON WIDEBAND" A/F gague is crap.

them mean nothing.

go get a wideband a/f gauge and those are the "true" A/F readings

good luck!
