Installed a new head unit and dash light is out. I just installed a new head unit, and I have a few electrical problems. Doing a few searches in this forum, it seems like this is a pretty common problem, so I thought I'd ask for some advice. I realized I had messed up the wiring on my head unit as others had done before (trying to use the illumination wire), but once I got it hooked up right, the stereo works great. Unfortunately, I have 3 weird problems:
1. Dash light doesn't work.
2. Daytime running lamps don't work.
3. Keyless remote doesn't work.
Nevermind ... I blew out the 15A "Small Light" Fuse. It's fixed now and working fine.
