good point. for every 3db's of boost, your amp is going to draw twice as much power at that freq.

no offense towards you im also a re fan and run mt's in my comp car and a 12'' xxx in my home stereo. but the sound of a speaker is directly related to the box and its bl curve and roll off. tuning will play a mojor roll on how a speaker performs and the crossover/eq settings, because any speaker will play any noise. and like you said some speakers preform better than other at different hz based on there design and build. again no offense to what your said but wanted to clear that up a little and back to original question go with adire shiva, the build quality of jl's are not greater and price for performance is way below adire. also look at www.ascendantaudio.com and www.soundsplinter.com for other speakers in your price range that are great

Yeah...this thread has gone way off topic. Anyways back to my original question, I was thinking of getting a 12" adire audio or JL sub. Anyone have any experiences with this?
I was thinking of getting either a:
JL Audio 12w3-v2 (12" sub).
or
Adire Audio Shiva Mark V (12" Sub)
or
Adire Audio Koda (12" sub)
I've heard the Shiva can be compared to a W6 depending on the install. But I think the Koda has a better build and better SQ than the shiva. It uses adire audios XBL^2 motor. Anyone have experiences with adire subs?

that must sound like absolute garbage...
He also has only one battery for all of that electronics. Either he is making all of that up (because he has no pictures to prove it), or his RF battery is created by god himself. I mean its possible...but why not just get the second battery? Your car needs some juice too

theres a reason pioneer sells 4 and 5 way coaxials... its like the guy with a small **** who buys a porsche
overcompensation for shitty performance
True. The more i look at that list, the more rediculous it gets. All i'm imagining is his old 99 'rolla packing the most expansive setup ever, and it gets funnier and funnier every time. I guess people forgot how to "draw the line'
