yeah, it sounds good, but what sucks is the volume control...you control the vol from your mp3 player and the deck. one thing i like about the alpine ipod interface is that it regulates the volume, so basically everything is controlled from the deck, it just accesses your music from the ipod.
well i dont have and ipod, i did, but i traded with my girlfriend for the creative zen micro. I have a higher level pioneer from 1.5yr ago with 2 amps, components and a sub, will there still be any rca's in the back to plug into?

ok, my question is...if you are trying to connect a RCA cable to your aftermarket headunit (it doesn't have a input, only output), what adaptor do you have to buy or is there anything for it?

ok...if i have this... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SuJihA6...adunit+adapter one that fits to my headunit, then i'll be able to hook up, let's say a PS2 so the sound comes out from my speakers?
If the deck doesn't have any input capability you can't hardwire it....an FM modulator would be your only option and they SUCK.
I have my iPOD wired through the Alpine AI-NET interface with conversion cabling AI-NET - RCA- 3.5mm minijack

so, coop, you're saying that if i only have the output cables, i won't be able to buy an auxiliary cable?
but if you see this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-79yfIOH...adunit+adapter
then it says "This CA-C1AUX adapter converts the changer control plug on the back of most recent (1999 and later) Kenwood changer-controlling receivers into an auxiliary input."
i'm just trying to make sure if this is even worth buying if it doesn't work...thanks

Also, wouldn't you need female stereo to male rca's? Wouldn't you be plugging the male mini-stereo into the female and want a male rca? Sorry, I confused myself...

i bought myself a Kenwood CA-C1AUX (auxiliar input adapter). its description says that it adda AUX input to compatible kenwook changer-controlling receivers and it plugs into the changer inputjack. so i think i'm ok with it.

so, i'm gonna hold off on getting an aftermarket deck for now.
if, this option is available that would be sweet!
