FM modulator for iPod

Hey guys, recently i installed a FM / audio modulator to my civic. But after installation i noticed that i can't receive the Am stations anymore and my FM stations aren't as clear, this is the case regardless if the modulator was on or off. Any insights or suggestions? Do you think the modulator weaken the strength of the reception?

is your antenna unplugged from the back of the HU.
Or even the wire connecting to the antenna on the glass could have somehow disconnected.

What FM modulator are you using too? Monster has a killer one for around $50 or $60 that i used to sell when I worked at RadioShack and it sounded great!

hmm it shouldn't. i installed one on moms car and the radio is still fine. it sounds like the power antenna isn't working right. did you plug everything in right?

that works too... with the addition of a stereo jack to RCA plug converter cable, which can be had at radioshack (for 3-6 bucks iirc from working there)

Everything is plugged in correctly and secure, but is aight i refunded that modulator neways. How much is that aux. input convertor? where can i find that at?
