Nothing too major in my coupe:
Alpine CDA-9855 HU
Boston Acoustics 6.5 Pro components up front
OS RF HX2 12" 2ohm DVC sub in trunk
Rockford Fosgate 4004 amp w/rear bridged for sub
1 Farard Stinger cap
Lots of big OFC wire
May eventually use my old BA 5.4 Pros for rear fill driven by an OS RF 60X2 and add another 1Fard cap

Re: Its that time again...post your systems...
Sorry if this has been shown already but would I have enough room in the trunk of my 04 ex coupe to put 2 12" L7s in it? If not, what would be the best sub or subs to go inside a vehicle like that. Also I'm going for mostly SPL with just decent SQ. Thanks guys
Re: Its that time again...post your systems...
Got a computer in the trunk and I run it via this 7 inch touchscreen.

The battery terminal.

Computer and the amp.

GPS receiver peeking out of the fan shroud. It runs to the computer via USB.

Lots and lots of audio wire run from the amp to the harness in the dash.

Re: Its that time again...post your systems...
Wow can't believe I ever missed this thread lol.
Anyway, My setup is all Alpine unless stated.
CDA-9886 Headunit
Some older door panel speakers that are blown
Pioneer 6x9s in the rear deck
Pioneer 4ch 300 watt amp
MRD-500 Mono channel amp
JL Power Wedge
2 Rockford Fosgate 12" P2s
Mobile Spec 20 Farad Capacitor
2 Mobile Spec Power Distribution blocks
All Speaker wire is Mobile Spec braided wire from 0awg down to 8 awg speaker wire
Currently working on fiberglassing the back dash and rear side panels to fit the new Alpine REF-17PRO's I bought almost a year ago. We are placing the woofers in the old cup holder area and the tweeters in the third brake light, eliminating the light since I have one on the stock wing, and the crossovers where the old 6x9's went. The side panels have been glassed, bondo'd, and one has been painted. Some imperfections are showing through right now so we are working with it a little more and hopefully plan to have them in by next weekend. The rear dash has only 1 hole cut for the tweeter but everything else is coming along nicely. Should have pics up in my profile and maybe in here once everything is done.

Re: Its that time again...post your systems...
lmao I realized it after I typed it but it should be all alpine soon with the exception of power management and the subs. I have some pictures of the custom fiberglassing we are doing so here they are. Even though the one looks done we still have a lot of work to do yet. We Need to apply some more bonda in two corners and a few wholes that got missed but they should be complete by monday night. They are going to be painted black to give me a start towards my black and blue interior.

Pioneer Premier Head Unit (can't remember model)
Pioneer Premier 6.5" up front
Rockford Power 6x9" in back
Alpine MRP-F600 (4 channel amp)
2x Kicker zx300.1 amps
2x Alpine Type R 12" subs
All's good, but I am in desperate need of some dynomat...
Also, I am considering replacing my front 6.5" speakers with some Alpine Type R's. Does anyone know how hard it is to make them fit?.. I just have to blow my Pioneer's first.

Re: Its that time again...post your systems...
About the dynamat, it is very good but depending on your system you may need more as it probably won't eliminate much. I have Xtreme lining the trunk lid and some generic spray stuff covering the entire rest of the trunk, approximately 3 coats. I have some rattle outside of the car from the license plate and a few loose body parts and the trunk lid yet and I only have 500 watts.
About the Type R's I don't know which model you have but if they take 6.5's to begin with, the only concern should be mounting depth and maybe shaving some of the plastic to make it fit snuggly. I have a KJ and droppin in Type X components and I have a lot of customizing due to the speaker being slightly larger then the whole.
