My imaging is on the money, kick panels and midbass with the 30 band EQ helps a ton.

I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 800A2 amp and that damn thing could power a bus, Rockford amps used to be the brand to buy. And i also have an older school Rockford back from 96 that could still power the best subs out there. Only downfall to the punch amps is that they got hot quick and would shut off.

Hey USA, if i would want to do a 5.1 Surround Sound and get the center channel speaker from Alpine, would i need the PXA-H701 Multimedia Manager? And if I bought that i would then need the RUX-C701 to control it. But would that pretty much face out my KQ30?
You can control the PXA thru the IVA-D310, so the controller isnt necessary. It is kind of nice to have separate control though. The Alpine Center channels arent that impressive for sound, but more for function. They have the one that sits on top of the dash (pretty tacky), and the DIN sized one also. If you really want to have a center and make it sound good, get a decent component, like a Boston Pro 4 or 5.25, something like that, load it with some power and it will sound a lot better. Tuning with a center takes a lot more finesse too. The PXA-H701 is the newer model that does 5.1 and a ton of EQing power, Ive got it in my pickup. The other option would be the PXA-H510, which is a much more toned down version, but still does 5.1 I have one that is not being used but its got some scratches on it.

Theres the Alpine GOD! heh, so the controller isn't necessary, i was looking at the manual for the Alpine IVA-310and it was showing the EQ and the controls for it, it was nice that you could adjust each speaker. I have the Kicker KQ30 band EQ, if i was to add the Alpine PXA-H701 could I use both or would the Kicker One no longer be needed?

i was hoping fiatdale was going to show up... i haven't touched an Alpine product in almost 4 years lol...
i DO know which center channels he's talking about... the SBS-0715 is the pod that mounts on the dash, and the SBS-05DC is the DIN unit... i've looked at both on Crutchfield.com in the past when i was looking for a center channel, and i decided that i'm going to just do a custom center channel using some Kicker KS35 coaxials... i still don't have all of the gear that i'm going to need (audio/video switchers, still need another KQ30, etc), but as i get this project finished up, i'll keep you posted as to what equipment i finally settled on...

usaf or Fiat, either of you know if i can use both the PXA-H701 and the KQ30? Or would that throw things off? I know people use 2 or more KQ30's or KQ30 in the back and a KQ5 in the front of the car. I'm gonna shoot towards 5.1.

The shop tuned my EQ, Yeah plz check into that for me if you could. Yea that would suck. I'm at work right now, then class from 10-12 then class again from 2-4 then work from 4-10, all at the college, so i'll be on all day long. Thanks alot, and thanks Fiat.

ive got a 250m powering my subs and theyre on a 1 ohm load wired in series parallel so its pulling around 600-650 i think
and for components theyre pushed by i think a 50.2 i forgot.
The PXA I believe will be a good replacement in total for your Kicker EQ's. You have a TON of EQing ability with the PXA, 31 band graphic Front Left, Right, Rear Left, Rear Right. All the time correction and crossover control you will ever need, and its got some kickass slopes to use too. Youll be happy with it, trust me. The nice thing is too if you go with the IVA-D310 and the PXA-H701, you can use optical between the two and the sound will be amazing. Drew I should give you my work IM so we can chat there haha
The only reason to keep the KQ30 is reason being its 9v pre-out instead of 4v from the Alpine. Will you notice a difference? Well depends on your amplifier / speaker setup as well. 4v is generally enough for most critics, but 9v is a shitload of power off of that

So could i run both then? Cause if you remember seeing my installing the KQ30 is apart of the trunk, heh. What is your IM at work, just PM it to me, i got class from 2-4 again today then work from 4-10.

If you do want to do both, I would say use the crossovers and time alignment on the PXA, have the EQ flat across the board (except for maybe sub and center, adjust those with the PXA), then use your KQ30 to EQ the fronts/rears. That way you still get the 9v output

if you decide to just bypass your KQ30, you can always sell it to me and just have a plate with the Kicker or Honda symbol fabricated to cover up the mounting holes

There is gl@ss in my @SS...
