Check Engine Light On

hey i posted in GD, and things got way off topic so i figured i would try it on this subforum, anyways i bought a air/fuel ratio guage and istalled it and now my check engine light is one, any ideas??, and also is there any other way to tap into to 02 sensor wire besides the little black wire by the header?

get rid of the gauge. it screws up sensor readings that ecu needs to calculate a/f for the engine. the gauge isn't even accurate. they sell modified gauges for full throttle, but you still need a separate 02 sensor to hook it to. a wideband sensor is the only way to get an accurate reading. otherwise all you have is a flashing light show.
