Wires for what?
Wires for what?
I bought a Bazooka Scuba8 for my vic and well, it only has two wires to connect to who knows what.. A blue one and a red one.. I was wondering if the uh red one is the power cable but that would only leave 1 cable for audio.. so now I wonder if I have to connect it directly to an amp... anyone know how to hook this sub up?
I also want to know a safe place to secure it in my trunk, was thinking on the passenger side and bolted down to the body, this a safe spot? any obstructions or anything dangerous I could hit while screwing down the mounts?

I know I'm getting out of topic here... but why did you get the boat subwoofer? Is your car white?
[EDIT]... ok... nevermind... still a boat sub but it's not the white ones, my bad. You scuba dive?

BTW, I don't, but my ex-neighbor does... he's an underwatrer photographer...
Whoa... went out of topic... REAL bad! Sorry!

argh, ok, no camera to be found atm.
one blue wire, one red, no other external cables otherwise this install would be easy.
read on the generic 'system features' section of the instruction manual that it has a COPLANAR OUTPUT... whatever that is.
I might just give their customer service a call.

interesting, wonder if I should try that.... any other comments on what kyle said? If that's the easiest/best way to do I'll do that.
The blue and red wires have no stripes or markers, just plain.
Ok, back to work.... argh.

"Without question, the wildest & most original subwoofer enclosure design in the history of car audio. Strap this monster in your ride for a quick & easy Bass Boost. Use it alone, in pairs, or even mount it next to your existing Nitrous Oxide system. This 8” subwoofer is simply a Bazooka subwoofer w/the patented Bass Tubes enclosure camouflaged to look like a Nitrous bottle. This unit comes complete w/tank, cosmetic nozzle, braided line speaker wire, & a complete mounting kit.
* Power Handling 6 - 300 watts * Impedance 4 ohm * Sensitivity 102 db * Frequency Resp. 39 - 1500 hz * Recommended Power 150 watts (rms) * Voice Coil Size 2"
Cliff notes: U need an amp with atleast 100w RMS but shouldnt be more than 175w RMS x 1 at 4ohms.
And u need a wiring kit for the amp and a LOC if u have a stock HU. (line out convert( hooks up to rear speakers)
