Dim gague cluster..due to ground?

I just installed my 01+ EX ground kit from Hardcore tuning this weekend and installed it just as the instructions said. However there is no ground that goes to the strut tower. Is this a problem?

The grounds go like this:

Neg terminal - tranny
tranny - top left side of motor (by power steering?
Top left - radiator
Radiator - alt.

however the stock ground had it going from the neg terminal to strut tower and then to the tranny and so on....

Now at night my gague cluser is really dim (about half as bright as it used to be) when in theory, if the resistance was cut in half when I installed the larger grounds (4ga) it would b brighter if anything.
