dash and taillights

guys my dash lights went out while i was changing around some stuff, along with my tail lights. my brake lights work fine. I checked fuses 2 and 5. 2 was out, so i switched it and it still doesnt work. i just checked it again and 2 was blown again. any suggestions? its a 15 fuse btw. the only thing i have unplugged right now is the srs sensor from the fuse box inside; i need to find a paperclip!

thanks
jason

another fuse? I know 2 is just the small light fuse for the dash and stuff. There's prolly another one. Check your manual. If the fuse keeps blowing, then something is wrong with what you did or wired.

There is a short if that fuse continues to blow. What kind of work were you doing ? Start there and check over what was done. What year car ?? I have some wiring info if you need it PM with E-Mail address and I will send it to you.
