need advice with sub/amp combo..
I searched and read a lot of articles and posts but i need some buyer experience with this. i have had 2 rf 10s for a while running on 250rms that i got a way long time ago. i had to sell them cause im moving and dont have the space for them.
within the next month, im thinking of getting a single 12 and running 500rms to it courtesy of my current amp. im thinking, from what ive read, getting a decent 12" with high sensitivity and 4 ohm, maybe dual voice coil? got any recommendations? im trying to stay under 150 or so and have been looking at some audiobahn subs. either those or infinity kappa perfect if i can afford it, maybe JLs?
got any suggestions? im kinda confused about 2/4/8 ohm and running an amp to it, and also the DVC issue and how to wire it up. ill take any advice you guys can toss a newb when it comes to trunk ice

would u be willin to buy from ebay? I would probably go with an Alpine Type R. New they're like $200 so I dont know if that would b out of ur range but they will handle the power pretty well. DVC = dual voice coil and that just gives u more wiring options. With a DVC u can wire ur sub down to half the resistance if ur amp can handle it. Example 4 ohm down to 2 ohm. Those Kappa Perfects r also pretty good, I believe that there db = 94 which is reall sensitive for a sub. those r like 300rms and 1200peak but is should be ok if u turn down the gain on ur amp. Anything else? Let me know...
