amp takes occasional breaks... help

hey everyone

my amp is acting up and i was hoping to get some help
i checked my ground and reconnected it properly so i dont think thats the problem here.

the issue is that ill be driving along listening to a song with my amp/sub on and all of a sudden, it'll miss a few beats and then begin hitting again
but when the car is parked it doesnt do it, only when im driving.
any clue what it is/could be?

my brother said he believed he had the same problem when he had his amp in my car so i think its connections/battery or sthg cuz for both amps, the same thing happened so i doubt it could be both amps having the same problem

it wasnt doing this before he put his amp in my car so im thinking maybe we screwed sthg up when we changed the amps. im not running too much power, 375rms btw, if thats helpful...

any help/suggestions are appreciated!
thanks!

Does it cut out when you go over bumps? Check all of your connections.

If you put an inline fuse there by the battery (as you should), check to make sure there are no loose connections in there. Also, my amp was cutting out every once in a while before too, several times actually. One time it turned out to be the inline fuse, while visually intact, was going bad. Replaced it and all was good again. One time my amp remote wire had come loose from the deck harness. And I seem to recall one incident where my DOME LIGHT fuse had actually popped and every time I went over a bump I would lose my sound. WEIRD.

05reverb is an unknown quantity at this point
That happened to me too, My amp always missed beats and it was because of the inline fuse, the clamps that held the fuse where loose on the fuse. I changed the fuse holder and it stoped the problem.
