Whiny noise

Im gettin the whiny interference in my stereo system after installing my new alpine amp. This ony happens when i get home. What can be the cause? They said it might be a bad ground and i tried using a wire and touchin a better ground but still no luck. I have the pos+, 3 RCA cables, and remote runnin all on the same side...... someone told me that i should run the remote seperate from the other cables??

Are you running the power cable from the battery to the trunk on the same side as the RCAs and/or speaker wires?

If so, that may be the cause.
