Exclamation Need help w/ 0ga. wire

I am getting ready to instal my system. I have rough plans for the install, and all of my components are in, so is the hardware.... But I need help trying to run the 0ga. wire.... Just wanted to throw it out there, get some opinions. Have any of you run a 0ga. from the batt to the trunk? If so, how did you get it through the firewall? I have no problem drilling a hole.... But if anyone has a better solution.... I was thinking about running it under the car... I don't know about that though.... anyway. Just wanted your opinions. Thank you in advance, as I know this will bring a lot of debate...

P.S. No I won't tell you what's going in. I know you'll all at me for it. Oh well, you'll just have to wait until it's done.

through a grommet in the firewall is most peoples choice otherwise you can drill and make your own

under the car is a bad idea IMO because of my exhaust and haveing to support it etc so much

i think you might have to drill.. i drilled for a 4ga wire (but just because i gave up looking for grommets)

definately do not run it under the car

also, keep it far far far away from ANY audio components, that is a very large wire, and will produce quite the magnetic field

incidently, what on earth do you need a 0ga for, or is it just for looks?

ya i went through the passenger side, but it was really hard to get to. i used like two separate 14 or 16ga, which is a lot smaller so you may need to drill, which would be though also =[

I ran mine through the drivers side through custom grommets. Heres some pictures to get an idea:

Pic 1

Pic 2

Pic 3

As you can see its run in the drivers side and down the center of the car. I thought there might be a bump in the carpet or something but it actually sits really flat. Not noticeable at all.

ex_03 is on a distinguished road
ran mine under the car never had a problem never had to drill. There is a gromet in the trunk right where the seats fold down on the drivers side, I'll try to get pics of it.

"drummerboy990" made that hole through the drivers side firewall. Thats where the clutch master cylinder goes if the car is stick.

I ran my through the passenger side firewall through the main harness groumet just like "cosmo" did. I first ran an 8 gauge wire, then a 4 gauge, then finally my 1/0 gauge wire.
