headlights causing alternator whine?

headlights causing alternator whine?
im getting alternator whine at night only... when my headlights are on. in the day i dont have it, but when i turn my headlights on i get it... is there any way i can get rid of this? is this a problem with the rcas behind my headunit or is it a bad ground?
i tried searching but couldnt fid my answer.

Do you have an amp powering your internal speakers? If sohow old is your amp? I had this old Clarion amp powering my interals that interfiered with my altenator giving me that bloody whining, I tried reground and messing around with the cables but I found repacing my amp the best way to get rid of it
I had the Clarion amp powering a sub with no interfierence but as soon as it was hooked up to the internals there was whining.
