grounding question
hey guys i just finished running all the wires and set up my amp in the trunk of my sedan, but i'm having difficulty finding a good place to attach the ground wire... any suggestions from anyone?

i just ran a wire to the negitive termainal of the batter, that was the only place I got a clean signal...

there is a nice lil spot on the passenger side under that plastic thing and carpet where the lights and some stuff are grounded, try there
I did mine to the hump behind hte backseat

Rep Power: 261 I did the same. This way you can hide your wiring this way. You don't need to run a wire to your battery. Running a 15ft ground wire...lol. Your ground wire should not be longer than 3ft.
Here's what you'll need.
1) ground wire (which you probably have)
2) ring connector on the ground wire (which you also probably have)
3) sand paper, 80 grit is good.
4) bolt and a washer
Tools needed
1) A drill
2) Rachet and socket
Instructions
1) Drill a hole on the hump right behind the rear seats (make sure the hole is not bigger than you bolt though).
2) Sand down the area around the hole until you see bare metal
3) Stick ring connector over the hole and put the washer on top, and then put the bolt in the hole, and tighten with a ratchet.
Job done.
