I like the eclipse AVN 5432 double din head unit with nav and the only mb quartz speaker i would put in my car are the Q-Line series but thier very expensive the QSD 210 front 6.5 inch componets retail for like $$1499.99 cdn if u want a set i could get you a pair for under a $$1000.00 cdn just let me know but does speakers are amazing wow they blew me away

mb is amazing sound quality and i have eclipse decks, every car in my family has one actually lol bout 5. i have a cd 5442 its a lil old but still works amazing and i love the avn eclipses i drool over them like once a week i highly suggest the 8454 or w/e the higher end plain cd deck is

I run an eclipse HU (5425) and I have heard and sold many pairs of MBQ speakers, they are very good, even the reference series are excellent sounding

i think boston acoustics are good speakers also, but dont take my word for it have these guys compare boston and mb (same cataegory speaker)

MB Quart premium series are very good speakers for a decent price. Or if you don't mind buying unauthorized from the internet, the old Q series are damn good speakers as well, the QSD's aren't really worth the price retail IMO.

How come Qs are the only Quarts you would use? Do you find Premiums to be of too little quality?

Compare BAs and Quarts? Well, unfortunately for BA lovers, it's no contest anymore. I would say Boston would lose in every line right down to entry. At the top-of-the-line level. Boston would be miles away from QSDs. However, If we are talking about older Bostons pro series, you've got a race. I would even go out on a limb and say that QM Q series and Boston Pro 6.53 3-ways would go 12 rounds. *tear begins to roll down cheek* I miss BA so much from back then. Their 10" Pro subs were the tightest, best sounding woofers. They actually smoked JL W6s. They were not only tighter at the time than Solobarics (brand new at the time), but they played low. Very low for 10s. Nowadays, BA has dropped off.
