Wiring sound right?

Hey everyone, ok i have 2 15" fosgate punch hx2s, I was wondering if these calculations are right, im trying to tune it to 37hz and the box is 4.15sqrfeet(inlcuding all displacements), and it says to make the port 3.04inches long. That does not sound right at all...btw its in 1 big box not dual chamber. Thanks everyone.

where did you get demensions from? one big box= coupled enclosure, which is never reccomended but will probably be ok.what voice coil are they, Model number would be good.mo info.K I just checked web site say's 4X8" one port per sub @4.0 cubic foot.here be the link, that means your total volume after displacement should be 8 cubic foot. Sealed would be a better route for space.

rfd2115, and 4cft is max volume for sealed enclosure, look at the ported volume, minnimum of 2cft, I have 4.1(actually its like 4.3) which is about the right size(plus i added a good amount of polyfill)

4" diameter and 8" long, be sure to round the edges at both ends. A hand router is good for this if not a rounded file.

Yea you cant always use port calcs when you change things up, but if you look at rockfords sheet on there site from my link above it shows that 4" X 8" is the port you'll use for 2cubic ft. to 4 cubic ft. enclosure per sub, so if you have a 4ft. total enclosure volume, you will need 1 4" X 8" port per sub, so in your case two ports for the box.You may want to try using polyfil or bags of cotton from a fabric store. It will help give your subs a smooth roll off. about 2 pounds per sub.
