17 prong plug thing on back of deck

Hey

I can't seem to find any info (don't know wtf to search for) on the little plug on the back of my deck.

I've got an ancient cassette deck, and it has a plug for an add-in cd changer (stock 1995 subaru L deck). I was wondering: what does this little round plug connect to on the other end? if I had this, and had the cd changer from the factory...what does the other end of the cable look like?

is it a headphone/rca type jack?

basically: i wanna hook up my mp3 player to my deck and just get it to output any form of sound.

any help would be hot.

TA

most likely a oem setup for a CD changer, equalizer, etc. Maybe if we had a pic of it?

yeah thats the cd changer control wire. You wont find anything to plug into the male end of the plug, but depending on the model of the deck, you may be able to plug a brand specific aux-in adapter into the rear of the radio. Anything more on the make/model of the deck?
