Buying Carpet - particularly paging PopcornPlaya
So, I discovered today that my auto apolstry guy has gone belly up. Which means, I am back to the drawing board as far as buying carpeting. I don't know if all our trunks are similar but mine is a dark-grey-black-graphite color. I am thinking about orderiing online. I would like to know a good reliable, inexpensive place to order, and what color will match best. Pop, I know you said something before about gray-11 or something. What company, manufacturer was that from? I think color is different depending on what company you use, right?

Rep Power: 329 I went to the shop and ordered it through one of our suppliers, actually, I didn't do it, I got our desk lady to order it for me, but still, that's all I did. I'll see if I can find a website for you.

Rep Power: 311 Whao, good find. A little pricey but not too, too bad. Considering the yds are x 76". My apholstery guy was about $12 per yd @ 45". Thanks pop, I sent for the samples, I'll let you know when they come in. Good sniping I didn't find anything like that on the net.

Rep Power: 311 Ok, got the carpet samples in today. One matched rather well. Problem? Thick backing! apparently they claim they dont' have any without thick backing, oh well, back to the drawing board.
At least now I got a little piece for color matching at shops

Rep Power: 329 I'll find another link, we never did find out who made the carpet we buy because we go through a distributor. I'm still trying to find out, but, I'll keep looking online as well.
