wiring 2 horns
I've seen in the DIY there was 2 horns hooked up, I bought an aftermarket horn and it said its made to replace stock and be ran by itself, so what would happen if I ran 2 horns? would it just draw twice as much power, and possibly blow the fuse? or would it only run half power?

i have 2 horns.. stock and a dual airhorn.. if yer aftermarket one came with a relay.. just follow the instructions... basicly you just tap into the wire for the stock horn.. connect that to the relay.. connect the horn +/- to the relay.. run a 12v+ from the fusebox to the relay... then ground ground it all out to the frame..
it sounds sorta retarded with two horns.. but i like it.. the airhorn has like a 1second delay cuz the compressor has to build.. but its nice cuz i can chirp the stock horn without the airhorn making any noise.. or i can lay on it and make them both blow..
if i remember correcly the wiring goes something like this

red=+
black=-
1 stick horn with a positive 12v going into it.. it grounds straight to the frame through the mounting bolt
2air compressor ground to the frame
3 the relay
4fusebox under the hood it has 2 nice hookups you can bolt to.. i think i threw a 20 fuse on that line just for kicks..

yea my question was just is it doable.. I would just splice the power wire and ground it same as stock.. I have an aftermarket horn now but i was originally going to put that + stock, but I just replace it cause the horn i bought said it was meant to REPLACE and it made me think I should only run one.. so basically I was just wondering if anything goes wrong (fuses blowning, etc) if you splice it..
so im assuming thats a no, and just go ahead and wire up to horns

i can now get my bumper off in under 2 minutes..
if yer lookin for a air horn i think they will all require a second power source.. but the only real place to mount it is like 2 feet from the fuse box so thats easy.. if yer lookin at the electric horns that look like the stock ones.. i think those dont need a second power supply...
i havent had any problems with blowing fuses
