'05 6 cd changer
I recently bought an '05 Civic Reverb that comes with a factory 6 cd changer in the dash. I was wondering if anyone knows how to wire in a 4 channel amp for aftermarket speakers and another 2 channel amp to run a sub, while keeping the stock deck. I have an good aftermarket head unit I could use, but the factory deck looks much cleaner/better.........
first of all, good call on keeping the stock 6 disc changer! cant think of a single reason to ditch a nice piece of equipment like that.

these are the best LOC's I know of. they will convert the factory outs to line level for your amplifiers.

It is anybodys guess whether they have preouts or not, usually a factory deck wouldn't, BUT this thing is quite snazzy and just might, in fact I would not be entirely surprised if it did. Definitely worth your while to check (and of course report your findings back here) if it does or not before you spend any money.

its a good call because most of the MP3 radio's available at this time look like junk and you are playing MP3 quality music.
a 6 cd in dash changer lets you change your CD's without jumping into the trunk, retain cd quality sound and will match your dash like no aftermarket radio ever could.
thats why the good call
