installing my dvd system

installing my dvd system

i need help. i do not know were my brake wires are located. in order to make my dvd system to work ima need to connect one of the wires to the brakes so does any one have any idea were the wires are at please help

if you want to hook it up to your brake wire....look at your brake pedal then look up...there should be a plug there...test the wires and see which one you need...or you could just ground the brake wire off the unit (which works for most units except for the alpines) and be able to watch the tv whenever you want.

if you got an 03+ vic you gotta take the center console apart anyway to put the HU in. just ground the wire and beware of cops.

Why ground it to the brake? Just because the instructions say to doesn't mean you have to. That's a safety feature to ensure that you don't watch movies while driving. Unless you want that feature enabled, just ground it behind the HU, as suggested above.
