grounding question
On the harness for my new headunit on the ground(black wire) it has a metal c looking clamp on it, but the one on the harness is just the wire, should i just cut the harness and join the two with a butt connector will that be as good? thanks

Yeah, the harness is just as good. Actually, I've heard that going straight to the battery can cause problems, not really sure though...most people just go to the frame, anything metal on the frame or going to it will work. Which head unit is this, anyway?

If you have any problems, go to www.the12volt.com, they've got the most complete wiring instructions I've ever seen. Hell, they even had a harness chart for my car.
