connector question
so i walk into kragen today and say i dont know what to get for installing a headunit so he sold me some t taps said it would be the best for the power supply , then just regular butt connectors, i dont think there gold plated, will this do or should i go try and get better quality stuff? they are conduct tite is the company it looks like. thanks

you dont need the t-taps. just the butt connectors and a wiring harness.
butt connector quality is such a rare issue in the performance of stereo, im sure the stuff you got will work wonderfully well

i think once i open up everything and see how its supposed to go it will be alright, i mean connections go together connector crimp done
oh yeha, its a snap. you just butt connector your two wiring harnesses together befor eyou even get into the car. no wiring diagram needed, the colors will match up perfect.
then when you get the dash off, everything just snaps into place.
we had chevy races when I was at the shop, who could install a radio from nothing to done the fastest. My best time was 15 minutes, only good enough for second place, the install manager could do it in 11.....
the harnesses make radio installation a breeze
