specifically for in car use? No not that I have seen because frankly I think it's kind of a silly idea. you can always put a backup camera in your car and hook it up to a video recorder, but that won't do you any good when the thief steals your car with the VCR inside it or when he leaves the car but takes the VCR.

however, i do recall hearing about a product where you had a camera in your car and transmitter and a reciever and VCR somewhere in your house, try doing a search, I believe it was in this forum that I read about it

I guess if you wanted, you could use an older laptop to run a webcam that was setup to come on only when there was movement in the viewing area of the cam itself.

INclude a wireless connection to your home network and have it send the image there when parked at home.

If oyu want to spend some money, you can get a rig for the car from a private security shop that includes tiny lipstick cameras to monitor the car's interior.

If you did it right, the theives would not notice it was there and would have their mugs on camera the whole time. However how you get the video after the fact is another story. Maybe the wireless thing above would work know knows.

you could get wireless home security cameras "nanny cams".. a lot of them have wireless transmitters that will broadcast to wherever the recever is (usuially under 500 feet).. they are also available with motion detectors... so it could/would work for when yer parked at home.. or if you can park close enough at work.. a guy i work with has one in his toolshed cuz hes insane..

hit up google.com.. theres TONS of stuff.. no clue as to whats good and what sucks though..
