Heater Control Wrong Color!!
My original heater control (recirc, A/C, defrost) in my '02 LX was orange like the rest of my cluster. I had it replaced because of a sticky button. The dealer tried to charge me for the replacement even though it had been sticky since brand new. I left without paying. That night, when it got dark, I realized that the new control lit up white!!! I called the next day and the service department was really snotty and the only suggestion they had was to re-install the sticky switch. Needless to say, I haven't been back to that dealer (Hamburg Honda in Niagara Falls, ON if anybody's interested). Now what do I do? I'm told that there is no orange filter that I can install to fix my problem. I'd pay for a new switch if I could be guaranteed that it would be orange. The part is listed as 374629 SWITCH ASSY., HEATER PUSH. How do I know what color this would be?

Your old switch is probably just dirty, see if you can disassemble it, clean it and put it back together... that might be your easiest solution

Rep Power: 812 The filter is on the back of the dials. You can pull out the **** and pry off the dial circle to get to it. However, you need the right one for the coupe instead of sedan. They gave you the wrong one.

Rep Power: 306 The coupe is orange, the sedan is white/blue. If you enter in your car on Majestic Honda as a coupe, then you will get the right one. All you need is the piece with the blue and red areas on it.
