Nasty buzzing sound

Hi folks!

I recently bought a new Pioneer 3600 HU for my ride and I hooked the front output (RCA) to an amp.

The problem is that the HU makes an annoying buzzing sound (not very loud, but still). When I turn off the radio, it goes away.

Any way to make it go away? It's not the type of buzz that changes with my RPM, nor it is a 60hz ground loop (hum).

Thanks!

Could be a ground loop between your HU and amplifier, or a poor connection on your RCA

So I should try a different grounding point in my trunk for the amp?

Thanks!
