what yr is your car?If you're wondering how to get everything out, HU and the pocket underneath, this should help.

On my 2003, you have to take off the stuff in the center around the shifter, unscrew that, and then take out the bolts above the cupholder/under the HU/pocket. There should be three screws to my recollection.

then, with all your power, PULL. The whole middle part, where the radio and pocket are, should fall out if you pull hard enough. BTW, You'll be pulling from where you just got the bolts out from, above the cupholder. If you want, wrap a flathead screwdriver with a cloth. Then, loosen the HU/pocket part by prying a bit. then when you pull, it'll come out easier. The first time will be the most difficult cuz its never been done before. [You are wrapping the screwdriver to avoid scratching your interior peices].

Once the HU/pocket are out its pretty simple. Just take the screws off and replace the HU, connect your wires, etc.

Thats a quick summary. I dunno if im missing anything but if ya need any more help you can add me on MSN.

Or PM me or just post here. Best of luck

SiG
