Is 1/0 bigger? I would imagine so but I'm not sure

They look to be the same size, but then why would they have diff names?

There are 4 levels of 0 that I have seen. 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0. I've never seen wire just labeled as "0" it's always 1/0, etc.
