i want to put in an indash tv into my car but i wanted to put it in the lower part of the din so the tv wont be too high... are there any kits where you can put the indash tv in the lower part of the din???

I think if you buy a dash kit that is the size of 2 dins then you can turn it upside down and fabricate it a little so it will work. I don't know how ur stock stereo setup is but I have a tuner with cassette on top and a cd player for the bottom din. They have a kit that looks like a space to put your cd player on the top and then there is a compartment for the bottome din. Just flip that kit and fabricate it so it stays in. I think that would be the easiest way to do it, or just make something yourself. Get creative.

you cna get the metra 99-7865 and put the screen in the lower half, the radio in the upper half.

its an all in one... so i want the pocket to be on top and the indash tv to be in the lower half.

metra 99-7865 and the universal iso mount din sized CD pocket.

mount the radio in the lower DIN slot, and mount the cd pocket in teh upper one.

its not the greatest pic but i made my own using abs palstic. it was def a lil difficult and took me 2 trys but it looks good. and u can secure it through the factory bracket in the back.

i dunno if this helps but ill tell ya what i did, maybe you'll do this

you said its just an indash tv, so this is what i did.

i put a new deck in where the stock deck is, and where the pocket is, i put a tv in. then i bought a bracket, customed it a bit to fit perfect and im putting in the custom bracket one of these days. my tv is just for playstation usage and besides, i wanted to put a deck in there. mine is JUST a tv in dash and psone under the seat. ya may wanna think abt going that route. good luck though, if ya got any questions or wanna see my setup, feel free to pm me.

If you're still looking for a place to buy the kit go to http://www.audiooutfitter.com/ ... I ordered the 99-7865 from there and the universal pocket and created exactly what you are wanting when I did an AVIC-N1 install. It looked great. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I do not have a pic but the part number for the pocket is 88-00-9000. The brackets it comes with line up with the factory mounting holes so it screws right it in. I will try to take a pic soon and post it up here. Hope that helps!

i work at a local circuit city...u can get all those parts there...if you they don't have it in stock they can order it for you and usually get it within 3-5 business days.

met 99-7865: double din
met 88-00-9000: universal pocket

those are the city's model and brand number if you want to give that to them to make it easier to order.

i like it in the lower slot...doesn't look so high anymore...when screen comes out it's in a decent spot and far less visible from ppl outside of the car
