Amplifier repair

I recently replaced an older Poweracoustik 4 channel amp with an Alpine MVR-F340 4 channel amp a few weeks ago after I noticed isssues with 2 of the channels on it - intermittent loss of balance and it didn't sound like they were getting full power consistently. Replacing the amp fixed my problem (and eliminated all my ground loop noise), but I couldn't bring myself to just throw the Poweracoustik away.

It's an 8 year old amp - I think channels 1 and 2 are partially blown, anyone here have experience fixing amps? If I can get it fixed at a reasonable cost I'll put it on our LX sedan...
I won't buy that brand again, many of you might poo poo it, but it did work well for 8 years and my only gripe was having to use a ground loop isolator to filter alternator whine.
