ok guys, need all advice

i'm lookin to replace my stolen system with a similar setup that I plan to bolt down even more securely than before.

i need advice on subwoofers:

here's the 2 alpine ones i'm lookin at
1. swr-1221D
2. swr-1241D

what's the major differences? i read up on them at onlinecarstereo and it doesn't tell me much about the specifications. They confused me with a bunch of techy terms, that just don't cut down to the fundamentals.

those are the 2 links for the subs...

if you have other opinions, and don't like these subs for some reason, post it and let me know...ive had VERY GOOD experience with the 1st selection, and if there's no much difference between the 2, then i'll get the 1st ones again.

other than 2ohm vs 4ohm im not sure if there is any difference

then the dual 2-ohm ones are better right? the 1221D?

No, the ohm difference is simply for wiring options, it has no effect on sound. It can afect damping slightly but I doubt you would ever know the difference.

In the end, what amp you are going to use will determine what sub(s) to get.
