SRS light
whats up everybody,
so i was running the wires for my amp last night.
i removed the driver and passenger seats to get under the carpet.
when i put them back i made sure to attach the connections under
each seat, but when i started my car the
SRS light came on. now it stays on.
could a blown fuse cause this problem?
i checked the SRS fuse and it seems fine.
could it be linked to another fuse?
the book says to have the dealer check it, but i don't
want to do that cause it will probably cost alot,
and they might say i caused it by running the amp wires.
could that void my extended warranty?
any suggestions...

humm, i think the only way you can trick the car to think there is a seat there is to compleate the circut... there are 2 cables aside from side impact bags. one for the seat belt and the other for a senor that senses if there is a person on the seat.
yeah i took my seatbelts and everything out so my light stays on all the time is there any way you could wire it so that the light goes off because there is nothing to connect it to thanks for the help
