Arrow Universal Underdash Kit?

Any thoughts on this kit Crutchfield offered me while looking for an EQ? Will it fit in our cars? Before I start looking into doing fiberglass work just to get 2 DIN size units in my car I'd like to know if I can just use this.

Wow that thing is hideous. Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber, or ABS Plastic or a little bit of everything will look a hell of a lot better than that thing.

The underdash thing is for some cars that have space for a middle person in the front seat. It fits under the dash and uses 2 screws to hold it up into the dash. I sell that at my work and that's what we use it for.. Unless you want to retrofit it into your dash.. but why would you? So much uglier than a proper mounting kit.

why dont you try to take out the little pocket below the head unit and make a 2-DIN slot there? sounds possible...
