Question MTX Thunder 6000

hey i was wondering if ya'll thought if this sub would be good. I know that the 8000 series kicks but i don't know about the 6000. I am planning on getting 2 with a custom molded encloser. I already have a SPL 820 amp to push both of them. If ya'll have anymore suggestions i am open to them. thanks

The Thunder6000 is an alright sub. It's nothing really impressive but it's definitely not the worst either. I built a custom tuned ported enclosure for them and it pushed about 141 dB with an Alpine MRD-707 (600 watts @ 2 ohms) in a Mazda MX-6. Keep in mind that's in a hatchback. But I would strongly suggest the Thunder8000s or if you have the money and have the power to push them, consider the MTX Thunder 9500s.

The MTX T6000s are not that good man... My friend bought one and returned it the next day cuz it didn't pound as hard as it should...

I have 2 MTX 8000s and they're NICE subs. DEFINATELY!!!! Get a nice amp to push them as they're good subs!

The MTX T9500s are SICCCCCCCCCK subs. I'd definately trade them in.. but the DVC 12" T9500s are $599.99 each sub! (USD)

Crutchfield has them. Well, I know for a fact that they have the 8000s but I'm not sure if they have the 9500s. Visit their website.. otherwise you can always hit up E-bay.
