Rep Power: 294 some nice installs (PICS)...
i took some pics of a couple nice installs a local shop that i frequent is doing.
first car is an si, either 99 or 00 (not sure which). it has a pretty hefty install, and there is more to come. some of the components include a clarion vrx935vd indash dvd player, hex components, two 12" W7's, two 500/1's, a 300/2, an EQ from phoenix gold, and a phoenix gold 15 farad cap. the truck is going to be motorized, and so is the back seat.
the second car is an old silverado, it looks like crap, but the install is nice (and VERY loud). system consists of four 15" diamond audio TDX's, four RF BD1001's, an alpine deck, kicker components, alpine cd changer, rockford symmetry, and some planet audio amps for the mids and highs. the TDX's are in a ported box, and as stated, its VERY loud, i can't even sit in the damn thing its so loud.
here are some pics: (all pics are 800x600, i have the 2048x1536 originals, but they are too big for me to host)
si dash
si kicks and xover
si xover
si trunk
si equalizer
si amps
si cap
si subs from the inside 1
si subs from the inside 2
truck front
truck rear truck headunit
truck symmetry
truck subs
truck amps
enjoy

Rep Power: 294 thats cool man, what all dont you like sadboy?
i know the guy with the civic is still doing a lot more to his car, i'm sure he's welcome to suggestions.
the guy with the truck, well he's basically done, its all for SPL, not for anything else, they will touch up the truck a little more, so no wood is seen and such, but thats it.

Rep Power: 0 sadboys opinion is quite sad, those are some decent a$$ installs, some people have some pretty high standards i guess.

Rep Power: 305 I'm gonna have to agree with sadboy on the civic install....while it is good work, i'm not a fan of the mixed fiberglass/vinyl work, and the trunk seems a bit too cluttered. I'm not dissing the work, it's pretty good, I just don't like the layout/style of it all.

Rep Power: 306 ^^^^^^^^^^ it's amish but wires are well hidden. but i don't see how you can compare a project on the scale of what was in either of those 2 vehicles with a single sub in a qlogic box...
