What are the brightest bulbs?
Some say Silverstars, some say MTEC, some say CUZO. I'm all about light output, and I dont have enough money for HID. Oh, and I have an upgraded wiring harness, so wattage isnt an issue.
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

This is not an acceptable answer. A good ***** post would be........
"PIAA's or MTEC's have been the most talked about bulbs for brightness that I have heard of."

Stock lights without blue coating will give the most light output and enable you to see the best at night. If you just want to get the yellow tint out, get some cool blues (3800K) instead of the stock 3400K. They will just look white and are slightly dimmer (very bad when driving in rain). Silverstars are supposed to be whiter at >4000K, but a lot of people here have said they look yellowish. Cool blues are good if you just want a white color without any blue or purple tint. Don't get PIAA, as they are crap. If you just want ricer lights with the HID look, just get any other brand like polarg, raybrig, mtec, and eurolite.
Hope this helps!

Just from what i've heard, MTECs are reliable and tend to last the longest. Do a search on ebay. You can find MTECs for $2.99 but shipping/handling is $8-9. Still, it's a good deal.

CUZO!!!!! God I'm sick of talking about the brightest bulbs
I have tried pretty much every bulb out there except MTEC and by far CUZO has the brightest output. Make sure you get the blue tinted ones and not the purple. The purple ones don't light up ****! Oh and my CUZO's light up the road the best at night when it's raining too.

For what it costs to try 8 or 10 sets of coated bulbs you can get HID.
Silver Stars on the left and Catz 4500K HID on the right.
Yup Silverstars are garbage. My CUZO's are pretty close to the pic of the CATZ.

The guy at liteswap.com gave me the group buy price at $460 shipped for the HID Catz. In return I sent him pics of my install and the pic I posted here. Regular price was $504 shipped. The thing I like about the CATZ system is that it is all CATZ, all Japanese plus they make OEM HID for companies like Lexus. Other kits I've seen are various brands of components put together into a kit.
Here's the customers rides pics from their site, including my pics.

Also some more of my pics.
