i need to know what people think about the bomz header on ebay that goes for $140? i am somewhat interested in buying a header and i want to know if this one is any good. and how much hp it will add?

If I were answering your question, which I have no clue by the way, I would maybe direct you to a thread or give you some info. Good luck finding some info. Just be really careful on Ebay. You get what you pay for. And I agree with people flammin on noobs. What a shitty way to welcome them to the site by jumping down their throats for not searching. How are they supposed to know to search if they are NEW and don't know how??? Everyone needs to start cutting noobs some slack. This should be a welcoming site not a flamming site. i have an 01 civic lx.....just bought a header, i should get it in a few dayz here...i allready have all the new gaskets, flange, and o2 sim....just waiting on the header...i would be happy to let you know how it turns out....i have a aem c.i.a., apexi n-1 exhaust, coil packs, jet ecu, and a few other goodies, so i am looking forward to seeing what the header will do, everyone on 7thgen cracks on these cheaper headers...but none of them have ever tried it themselves....******...grow some *****....i didnt want to spend 500 bucks on a header that will onl;y produce maybee 10 h.p. 500 bucks can pay for a 50 shot of wet nos.....so i wanted to try the cheap headers first, if they dont do crap for the motor, ill step up to the next best one, and soforth. ill let ya know though [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Here is your help. A header is a header. It just matters on its setup (i.e. 4-1 or 4-2-1, is it shorty, have high flow cat, etc.)

4-2-1 Header like the Bomz header is going to be better for city driving in my opinion because it will save your low rpm power. Its not the most powerful header on the market but anything is better than stock.

4-1 Header like HP, Kamikaze gives more highend power.

A shorty header is going to keep you street legal but you aren't going to see much power from it unless you get a downpipe.

If the header comes with a downpipe you will most likely need an o2 simulator.

Things to keep in mind with this header:

- Its chrome so it will turn bluish purple because of engine heat.
- You will not see as much gains as you would if you went with an HP because it is a shorty header.
+You will stay legal.

Are you happy now? This all could be found by searching. But I'm just not fond of this header. Personally HP or Kamikaze would come first. But anything is better than stock. It all depends on how much money you have to work with.
