I wonder if it'll work with cable-type trannys since that's what we use. If the DC5 integra is a cable-type too, then we could be able to use it.
but then again, isn't the DC5 6-speed?

I believe that the dc5 has pretty much the same setup as the 7th gen civics since almost all of the ss adapters use the same part numbers for both cars. So this should work.
Seems like a more extensive install though...

BobbyD, it's like the shifters in rally cars, just push it forward to shift up and back to downshift and in rest it automatically returns to a nutural position. Basically a slap stick The gear desplay would look awsome too.. a big LCD number of what gear your in

Hmm.. lets see. The best way I think to describe it is like a street bike or motorcycle. If you push up on the shifter a bunch of times you will come to 5th gear, pull back once your in 4th, again your in third, pull back again your in 2nd, once more you in 1st gear, pull back again your in nutural, pull back again your in Reverse. Then just slap up from there to go to N/1/2/3/4/5 I WANT I WANT but I'm broke

price: ALOT it retails for $1800 smackers but import fan is usually a few hundred bucks cheaper so I'm going to guess that when they state their price it will be around $1500 maybe a bit less. Alot of money no doubt, but DAMN sweet and worth it. Just think how much fun it would be to shift with that bad boy

It would be fun because it is different. I like H shifting myself, the way I see it is unless I'm actually doign some racing I wouldn't waste the money.

It would be about 300% cooler if you didn't have to clutch. But I wouldn't mind having one. It looks really different and fun.

Is it just me or does it look like its really tall? Look at the pics of it installed. I wonder if they make a short shifter for this thing, or if you could just cut the stick shorter. I guess it could just be an illusion but damn does it look tall

Why would you spend $1,500 on somthing that does nothing for you. If you are a good shifter that thing is worthless. all that money on a car that is lucky to see th 14 mark. It's just me but what a waist. spend the money on a new engine. get the car doing 12's then think about it.

It is taller. The point is to put it as close to teh steering wheel as possible. This is so you can shift and get your hands back on the wheel as fast as possible. Very important in rally racing. But, yeah, the stick is way too big for my taste. It would trip my style!
