Rep Power: 0 Can't Jack Car Because of Aftermarket SideSkirts??
The points where I jack my car at are now covered by my kaminari sideskirts, did this happen to anyone else? I believe they are being covered, when i felt under the side of the car, the sideskirts were covering a pretty large area.

Rep Power: 0 Can't you buy one of those raiser ramps for the one tire and just keep that in your trunk? Then you have the room for the OEM jack.

Rep Power: 0 that's what i was thinking... buy some ramps then either prop the back tires with something.... i would much rather use a jack and jackstands though..

Rep Power: 392 you dont HAVE to use the jacking points.. just get under the car through the fender well and find a nice solid spot on the cars chassis....

Rep Power: 299 I just carry a foot long piece of 2x4 in my trunk and drive the over it.
word of advise DO NOT!! use the stock jack for anything but to fix a flat. that flimsy thing is a piece of chit. I learned the hard way using it to adjust my ground controls. the thing folded and my hand got cought in between the rear fenderwell and the tire.
luckily there was just enough wheel gap not to hack my fingers off

Rep Power: 282 drive it up on a block of wood....
then another block of wood...and take the first one out....NOW put the jack under....
LOWER THE JACK...but put the 2nd block of wood under the tire...before you lower it....take jack out
back the car on to the 1st block of wood (car in neutral...push it back slowly)
take big 2nd block of wood out...
back up car again...
take 1st block of wood out
thats it

I went to Honda the other day to get my oil changed and service and they had to put my car on the allignment hoist because it wouldnt go on any of the others, and to get it on that they had to make a ramp out of 2x4's so it would make it up, I told them I am going to lower it over the winter and they said I would have to take it to a pit to have any work done on it because they cant do it.
