Question about HP Header

i just recently purchased the HP header w/ Cat from a member off this board. Supposedly used for a few months..
anyways, i was talkin to a mechanic today and he told me that if i had bought the header used, i should get a new gasket....
do you think i should or not??? dont really know why i should or shouldnt besides it would be "new"
didnt think it was that big of a deal..?
thanks

Maybe just so you could get a fresh seal to your engine, since the other has been compressed already It would only cost like $15-20 so i'd say just do it.

get it from honda. i don't think hp gives out a head gasket with their header, they just make u use your stock gasket.

always replace gaskets when you remove whatever is around it...exceptions do exist...o-rings can generally be reused depending on where they are located.

The gasket for the header only cost me like $4 from Honda so it is worthwhile just to be on the safe side.
