JetChip for $239.99?

JetChip. Sorry, I tried to link to the exact page but it's in frames and I couldn't get it opened in it's own window. Anyway, this is supposed to do some cool stuff like improve acceleration, control air/fuel mixture, eliminate rev limiter, etc. Anyone have experience with it? It appears to be cheaper than a vtec controller and does a lot of the same stuff.

I don't see why it should be the last choice of upgrades, but w.e

Indeed, the chip should be the last piece of the performance puzzle, since it will be programmed to take advantage of any existing modifications. Thus, you WANT to do it last, after you have installed/performed all engine modifications, so you can get the most performance out of your car.

This, BTW, is the best way to modify any ECM to extract more performance from the engine.

It does the same basic things as a S-AFC, but it's not retunable as the S-AFC is. It does remove the rev limiter, but is this something you really want to do? It is the best way to do it cheaply and easy, as a replacement ECM is 1400, and the S-AFC requires a few dyno runs to work to it's best.

Where did you get that $1400 price for the ECM...I 've seen it listed for like $400 online.
