sri vs cai
yeah sure i could do a search and find nothing or just ask a simple question
import tuner used the hayame short ram intake on their 02 civic and said it performed better then an aem or injen
i can get it for around 114 online
i went to a local shop and they said that their list is 200 and thats what he could sell it to me for
then he was like i have an injen i can get you for 190
and its the cold air one
will i see any difference between sri and cai
i have an automatic
what do i do?

CAI isn't necessarily better - what if he's from somewhere that's prone to flooding? anyway, go with what you think looks/sounds better, because intakes really aren't gonna make your car fast. you can always headerwrap the CAI for even cooler air, though.

Where can you get it for this much online?!
I was pretty close to ordering K&N's FIPK intake but I might get this one instead cuz that's $85 cheaper and it appears to work pretty well.

import tuner... heh.
that thing is a rip off. 200 for that thing? OMG.
its on ebay for 50 bucks. and thats a rip off too! (because you can get the AEM replica CAI for like 20 more bucks)
but then again the filter they come with probably suck. (but u can just buy a K&N or something and slap that on)
personally I suggest buying the AEM replica CAI (Importech) or what not on Ebay.. and slap on a better filter.
InJen's probably produce 1-2 more hp and equivalent torque increase... but... the AEM design doesn't sit so low, less worry on hydrolock.

well. its a replica I guess.
but its the same thing from what I can see.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1848270970
for an SRI, this is a really cheapy one. I'm surprise they dont have these for cheaper price.
I think from a design standpoint, the FIPK is way better.
but, its also 4 times more expensive. heh.
best value is buying an InJen/AEM replica, and slap on a better filter.
