Rear Section or Cat-back???????
REAR SECTION or CAT???????
Okay I have an LX with Gold-Lines. I am lowered about 1.75 inches. My question is; I had a Magnaflow on my car, but the midpipe hing way to low and didn't fit tight up in like the stock. I sent that back. Is there any aftermarket exahust that goes together using a flangw with bols instead of cheap U-bolts and if so do they fit up in the stock location nicely? Also can you give me the names of the prodcuts and some good rear sections too. I don't want to scrape and I do go over speed bumps sometimes. I was thinking of maybe a custom job, but what do they do with that resonator? Thanks.

GReddy EVO was made to have a stock fit. It also has a good sound. I think I read about the fitting issue on their website.[hr]

Hmmm....if you have an lx, I say go with a complete system. The ex gains a lot of it's hp over the lx simply from the exhaust system. This is very common with hondas. The ex usually has a better exhaust system than the lower models. Greddy is a high quality system with flanges. DC is nice but very heavy and the design looks restrictive if you ask me. The greddy has a huge can style muffler though.
Ex's should go with an axle-back imo. The ex's stock piping has very nice bends and is of perfect size if you ask me. Even the concept civic put out by honda pushing 170 claimed hp had 2" piping if I remember correctly. It's not really the piping that's an issue, it's the resonator and muffler that add the restriction.
