Rep Power: 0 i have the apex'1 n1 turbp muffler with magnaflow midpipe and the resonater removed. it's very loud! it does have a deep sound.. but since i have the hp racing cat and no resonater it gets raspy once you step on it.. it just sounds like a dragger.. all my buddies like it. just too loud on long trips.. i'll either put the resonater back on.. or by the silencer. I don't know what kind of system you have.. but it does have a nice deep rumble to it.. but expect universals to be loud. purchase the silencer at the same time. I can get you the apex'i n1 turbo muffler for $275.00 anodized and $235.00 in silver.

Rep Power: 0 the A'PEXi N1 was the first aftermarket part i put on the car - i have had nothing but problems with it, i dont have the turbo N1 so i cant speak for those but the regular one i have sounds like *** - it sounds like a cross between a tin can and a broken lawn mower - i have fixed the tubing three times thinking that was the problem but no luck. and it adds like zero horsepower - and if you live in So. Cali its TOTALLY illegal - i switched my exhaust to the Greddy Evo and that one is 10X better sound and HP gain - and if you get pulled over just wip out your little sticker that is like a get out of traffic court free card because the cop gets a real duh! face because he cant give you a ticket - ha ha take that pigs..... did i say that A'PEX will not give you any documentation either to waive your fix it tickets - you just have to cut off your exhaust - they suck

Rep Power: 293 It's because you took the resonator correct? My N/A Apexi N1 Muffler without resonator was deep sounding at low RPM's, but once you hit on it, it became raspy as anything. Do yourself a favor, don't be a riceboy and keep a resonator on.

Rep Power: 0 so your saying if i put the resonator back on it will sound like a normal deep sounding exhaust and not no raspy sounding tin can?

Rep Power: 293 I dunno what to tell you. I had my muffler put onto stock piping. The N1 made no difference in sound whatsoever over stock. I dunno how it would be with piping, but I think the stock resonator silences it a bit too much. That's why after the apexi n1 I was like forget it, and got a magnaflow catback.
