water in cai
has anybody ever sucked up any water in their cai? i think i did a few days ago,the engine started making kind of a rattling noise and the whole car shook some. so does it sound like i got some water in there or what?
sorry to hear that did you get a bypass thing? if not you might of got water in there and thats not good havnt had that happen to me because i got the bypass and it blocks the water that gets sucked in
ironcow come on buddy over and over again, j/p bypass sits about 7-9 inches off of the throttle body, supposed to be a certain distance from it, dunno tho i am fixing to get my injen on thurs, WOOHOO!!! Might have gotten water in there, the vibration and shuddering should have stopped, it is usually so hot that the water vaporized before it even damaged anything. My guess your ok, if you keep having problems take that bia back to honda, just take off the aem cai.

it only did the shaking and everything for about 10 or 15 seconds. i've done it a few times before and it always does the same thing. i don't think i sucked up that much water because it hadn't rained very hard and i didn't see any deep puddles. i was just wanting to make sure that it was water and not something else screwed up with my car.
bypass valve is just a waste of money, dont get it, and dont worry about water unless theres a flood or like a big puddle thats deep, in my opinion i say its a rip, bypass S.ux
