ironcow come on buddy over and over again, j/p bypass sits about 7-9 inches off of the throttle body, supposed to be a certain distance from it, dunno tho i am fixing to get my injen on thurs, WOOHOO!!! Might have gotten water in there, the vibration and shuddering should have stopped, it is usually so hot that the water vaporized before it even damaged anything. My guess your ok, if you keep having problems take that bia back to honda, just take off the aem cai.

But everyone says that the by pass valve only works if the filter is completely submerged in water, if not the cai still suck water in to the engine.........

it only did the shaking and everything for about 10 or 15 seconds. i've done it a few times before and it always does the same thing. i don't think i sucked up that much water because it hadn't rained very hard and i didn't see any deep puddles. i was just wanting to make sure that it was water and not something else screwed up with my car.

bypass valve is just a waste of money, dont get it, and dont worry about water unless theres a flood or like a big puddle thats deep, in my opinion i say its a rip, bypass S.ux
