I called Apexi today...

I called Apexi @ 714 685 5700, and talked to the tech department to ask when they're coming out with the WS exhausts for the 01's. The guy informed me that in late March to early April (around the time when the International Auto Salon is held in Long Beach) we're going to get for our coupes:

1. WS Exhuasts
2. N1 Exhausts
3. Some other one I didn't get the name of, but it is supposed to be REALLY lightweight

I'm pretty happy. The WS Exhaust is going to be sold for $429.00 MSRP, which means I can get it for under $300 shipped with my hookups.

BTW, I didn't ask them about the VTC because it never crossed my mind, but I did ask if they have a turbo kit planned for our cars. He informed me that they would not. Because it would more than likely NOT be CARB legal.

So for all the peeps ripping out their hair trying to decide on an exhaust system for your car, wait till April when the Apexi's drop into your nearest store.

the WS exhaust is great if you want a perfomance exhaust that looks damned near OEM i have the universal N1 and i love it. the catback N1 and all the other ones should be nice. only downside is that you can't get the cool colored N1s with the catback system

Oh yeah, it's A'pexi that makes those cool colors. I love those! Too bad that the cat-back version of their exhaust doesn't sport these like you said. More options = yummy!
